A reinterpretation of the traditional souk for a modern neighborhood. Interconnected courtyards provide natural ventilation and create distinct zones for produce, crafts, and prepared food.

The main hall has a vaulted ceiling with clerestory windows that let daylight deep into the space while keeping the heat out. Stalls are flexible · they can be rearranged for different market days or seasonal events.

A community kitchen lets local chefs cook with ingredients from the vendors, and a rooftop garden provides herbs, vegetables, and a view of the surrounding area.
